EPM Automate is the command line utility that allows you to remotely perform and automate administrative tasks for your Oracle Cloud instance. It can perform administrative tasks like importing and exporting metadata and data, refreshing and clearing cubes, and more. It is supported by ARCS, EPBCS, FCCS, PBCS, PCMCS and TRCS applications.
The 4 Simple Steps to Fully Automate Your EPM Processes
- Install the EPM Automate Utility
- Create the appropriate jobs, batches, reports, snapshots, and Business Rules in the application or in Data Management. These are then run by the EPM Automate utility.
- Write Batch or Shell scripts, for Windows and Linux servers respectively.
- Login, run the needed EPM Automate commands, logout, monitor error logs using exit codes if desired, and schedule the script with Cron Jobs or Windows Task Scheduler.
