A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive responsible for overseeing the financial activities and strategy of an organization. The position requires hands-on financial activities and the management of policies, processes, and procedures across all accounting and finance areas.

Primary Job Duties

Financial Planning and Strategy:

• Develop and implement financial plans and budgets aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and board of directors, and other senior executives.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare timely financial statements and conduct trend analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Financial Operations:

• Manage daily operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Implement internal controls and streamline processes for efficiency.

Risk Management:

• Identify and manage financial risks, implementing mitigation strategies.

Capital Management:

• Oversee capital structure and optimize resource allocation for growth.
• Evaluate investment opportunities to enhance shareholder value.

Treasury Management:

• Oversee cash flow and liquidity management.
• Develop strategies to optimize cash resources and manage banking relationships.

Stakeholder Relations:

• Build relationships with investors, lenders, and regulators.
• Communicate financial performance effectively to stakeholders.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Collaborate with HRM for onboarding, training, recruitment, and benefits
• Oversee international accounting operations and manage KPI tracking

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Proven experience (4+ years) in finance leadership roles, with a track record of success in financial management and strategy.
