What is Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service?
Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service is a solution designed to empower operational planners with flexibility, scalability and ownership to plan the way you want, while still offering the transparency and control required for corporate finance. Developed from the original Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), the full-use edition of EPBCS includes five pre-built and customizable business process modules: Financials, Workforce, Capital, Projects, and Strategic Modelling. These modules include a variety of pre-built features including cubes, dimensions , input forms, business logic, and reports for a standardized version of enterprise financial planning. Of course, no business operates in a completely standardized fashion, so customization of these modules is available. Organizations can add dimensions, forms, reports, dashboards, and tasks to make the application their own.
EPBCS provides best in class functionality for workforce, capital, and financial modelling through these modules, and with incremental enablement of many components, it allows for growth and development of the application along with your business. Additionally, monthly update releases keep your application up to date with the most highly sought-after improvements and features.
The out-of-the-box EPBCS product includes access to Block-storage (BSO) cubes, where data is collected and calculated , as well as access to Aggregate-storage (ASO) cubes where data is consolidated and used for reporting. Additionally, this product has full integration with the Microsoft Office software suite similar to PBCS, for easy integration with your current business processes. The cloud capabilities that EPBCS of course provides are consistent with all cloud platforms including: scalability, mobile access, little to no cost upfront, simpler maintenance, and the security and data backup guarantees that Oracle provides its cloud customers. EPBCS is built with the user in mind, to simplify their implementation and allow their business to thrive using the most current Planning and Budgeting technologies.
