• High transaction volumes from a U.S.-based bank, alongside a secondary institution based in India.
• The need to connect and reconcile data between NetSuite General Ledger and billing/invoice details stored in a Snowflake-based relational database (star schema).
• A lack of structured account groupings to support an efficient reconciliation and approval workflow.

The Solution

MindStream Analytics partnered with Rippling to implement NetSuite Account Reconciliation (NSAR), creating a streamlined and scalable reconciliation process tailored to their complex environment.

Key solution components included:

• Workflow Optimization: Developed a “teamed” workflow approach that included preparer/approver roles with clear responsibilities. Custom account groupings were introduced to logically segment reconciliations, enabling faster processing and better visibility.
• Seamless Integration with Snowflake: Leveraged EPM Agent to establish a secure and automated connection between Snowflake and NSAR. This integration enabled direct extraction of billing and invoice data, facilitating automated transaction matching with NetSuite GL data.
• Compliance and Process Improvements: Implemented comprehensive reconciliation formats and standardized procedures, giving Rippling a structured and auditable reconciliation framework. Drill-back functionality and dashboarding further enhanced visibility and control.

The Results

Rippling successfully consolidated and simplified its reconciliation processes into a centralized platform. The benefits were substantial:
